April 2012 Update on Morgan Boo Boo!

I know I am late posting April's update but I made it!

Morgan is now in her own room at night. Well at least in the guest room. I could not move her crib into her room because it would not fit. So I moved the crib into the guest room. I will eventually have to remove the side of the crib to get it into her room. I also need to finish decorating her room. I have pics and decals I need to put on the wall.

Let see what else...Morgan is 16 months (5-11-12) and growing by the day. 21lbs, 31 inches. She had a peds appt this week (5-7-12). She has had all of her shots until thae age of 2. I will be switching her to a real pediatrician. She has been with a family practioner since birth but I want to switch her to a doctor who sees only children.

This week Morgan has learned how to run pretty fast. We danced around this past Tuesday (5-8) and as the music was playing she ran in circles around the kitchen island. Hilarious! She snaps her fingers and I taught her to move her head from side to side when a real good song is playing on the radio in the car. :-)

Morgan is acting a bit toddler-ish. Falls out and have been whining quite a bit lately. She is teething. Her molars are coming. So far she has 6 teeth, 4 at the top and 2 on the bottom.  She is also a bit spoiled, so I try not let her get her way most days. That is very hard because when I come home from work I am so drained, I give her what she wants. :-)

March 2012 Update

I have to do better with updates! Time is flying by!




1-9-12 Morgan's First Day at Daycare



Morgan is 14 months. She has two bottom teeth and 4 top teeth. She is 21lbs, tall and slim. She is wearing 12 month tops and 18 month bottoms.

Morgan is very, very active. She can snap her finger and whistle (has been whistling since 6 months, too cute). Her wardrobe is better than mine! I am always shopping for boo boo, especially jeans ( I used to be a jeans fanatic myself).


Lets see what else...


Walking, of course since 10.5 months, can walk really fast and almost run. Still sucking on a pacifier - :-/


She can say a few words (dada, eat,this and mimics "stop it"- which is what I tell her a million times a day). She is not saying Mama yet, but I am working on it :-).


She sleeps in her crib all night, in bed no later than 9 pm (thank ya Jesus!). But still in my room. Maybe by this summer I will move her into her own room...


She started daycare 1-9-12. It took a few weeks but she has acclimated really well. However she always has a runny nose know because of those sick kids in daycare.

Morgan has a great personality already. She can be very serious but during play time loves to laugh. She also tests me a lot too. She turns the tv off or change the channel (walks up to the tv to do it), looks back at me and then run or laugh. Its cute but annoying too :-)!


She already tries to dress herself (tries to put on her socks and shoes and clothing). She eats pretty much everything, though I have to disguise her vegetables or she will not eat them. I will put them in her month and she will open her mouth and let the vegetables fall out. As you probably can tell, my carpet is a mess! I am looking to replace the carpet with a darker color or get hardwood floors.




Well that is it for now...maybe the next update will say she is potty trained! LOL
